DeBardeleben (Dee Bar Del Ā Ben) Photography
I was born in Fürth, Nürnberg, Germany, and moved to the United States as a young child, growing up in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
New England’s forests, rivers, and rolling hills became my playground and planted the seeds of my lifelong connection with the natural world.
After graduating high school, I entered the United States Army, proudly serving my country for 13 years, both at home and abroad.
My time in the military shaped my character, instilling resilience, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the diversity of cultures and landscapes I encountered.
My photography journey began with capturing moments at dog shows, beauty pageants, weddings, corporate events, and high school senior portraits.
While these experiences honed my technical skills and taught me the art of storytelling through the lens, I soon realized that my true passion lay elsewhere.
Nature, particularly wildlife, called to me.
There is a unique magic in witnessing a bald eagle soar across a morning sky, a deer grazing in a quiet meadow, or the intricate patterns of frost on a leaf.
These moments inspire my work and fuel my unwavering desire to conserve and preserve the natural spaces that make them possible.
Through my photography, I aim to do more than capture beauty—I strive to enlighten others about the importance of protecting our environment and the creatures that call it home.
Every image reflects my mission to inspire others to appreciate, respect, and safeguard the natural world.
I invite you to explore my galleries, where each photograph tells a story of adventure, discovery, and an enduring love for the wild.
All images are available for purchase, allowing you to bring the wonder of nature into your home or workspace.
